SOTW #8: Plain Brioche Stitch

The brioche stitch may seem complicated at first, but can be quickly mastered. Included here are instructions for the plain brioche stitch with both even and uneven stitches. Note: Brioche stitch knits up loosely and is much wider than it is tall so you will need to plan on more rows than if knitting normally. Free PDF, instructions, patterns and videos after the jump.

SOTW #3: Elongated Stitch

Elongated & Daisy Stitches

This weeks stitch is the Elongated stitch, a simple stitch which is as easy as the knit stitch.  This stitch is customizable by altering the number wraps for each stitch. More wraps is a longer gap between rows, try alternating the wraps throughout the row to make a wavy effect. The photo also gives you a sneak peek of next weeks Daisy Stitch!
