SOTW #2: Herringbone Stitch

This weeks stitch is the Herringbone stitch, this stitch is a bit more advanced and may seem tough at first, however it quickly becomes a synch.  At the end of this post I will link some free patterns on the web utilizing the herringbone stitch, as well as some how to videos.

Directions:

CO any multiple of 10 

(shown 30)

Row 1: K1 *Sl1 K1 PSSO before dropping slipped stitch KTBL of the stitch repeat from * until last stitch K1

Row 2: *P2tog keep on left needle P first stitch again repeat from * to end

Repeat rows 1-2 until desired length.
